Based on an old T-shirt design, I used Almada, my hometown has the background image and added the girl and type. Adding a “P” to Almada, the name becomes spanking. Just a little of portuguese humor!
When I was building an older version of this website, I wanted to make artwork, that showed where I’m from and my art skills. So, since the homescreen scrolled between three images, I made Almada featuring iconic landmarks in three different styles vector, photomanipulation and traditional pencils (with a little photoshop).
When I started my Zazzle Shop, I used the vector image to make the header and finished the edges to remove that framed look and tweaked the background. Then used the image as my Blog background and as a poster advertising my freelancing services.
